Mazda Foundation Golf Day |

A few snaps from the golf day!
We are proud to contribute to such a worthy cause, and we particularly enjoyed the participation aspect of the day. We achieved a score of 43 on a "Team Stableford" system which in the scheme of things was quite a good effort. The rules are, you score a 1 for a Bogie, 2 for Par and 3 for Birdie and 4 for an Eagle, and the strokes are adjusted by handicap. The winning team for our course got a score of 55 which is basically 17 Birdies & an Eagle (that's one big aviary)! We got the equivalent of 11 Pars & 7 Birdies. It's a very good effort based upon the difficulty of the course. Everybody had contributed when it was needed, with a balance of the scores coming from all of us.
The picture of the flag is David's "closest to the pin" effort. Well done David !
A great day was had by all, and we truly enjoyed the challenge of one of the most difficult & beautiful courses we have ever had the pleasure to play.

David McCoy achieves "closest to flag" on this most picturesque hole.

A beautiful view from the Club rooms at the National Golf Course at
Cape Schank in Victoria.
