This month I was kindly asked to present as a keynote speaker at the 2006 "Advanced Dealer Management" course aimed at up and coming Dealer Principals/General Managers in the Automotive market.
The course is being held over a period of months whereby attendees are subjected to exposure to many varied aspects of Dealership Management principals which includes a study tour to the UK and visits to a number of operations abroad.
Of note, those who successfully pass the requirements administered by the course are provided with a certification that is accredited by the University of Melbourne.
As an industry specialist with over 20 years experience in offering IT based services to Car Dealerships, I offered insights to the attendees on "choosing and making the most of your Computers Systems", as well as "the significance and challenges of financial reporting for Automotive dealers".
During my one and a half hour session, the attendess were presented initiatives and insights (including Malaysian attendees) into reporting and IT methodologies and practices.
You know that you have struck the right note when one of the attendees phones you a week later to ask about assistance regarding implementation of a budget solution for their organisation.
